Longing for love, she put her heart out to the universe, and the universe responded
Kanu Jacobsen was beginning to think it would never happen.

Whenever she was out in public, she would look at couples and wonder how they got together.
​
And if they could find love, why couldn't she?
​
She's got a lot to offer. She's smart, attractive, well-traveled and successful. She's an adrenaline junkie and has climbed mountains and run marathons.
"Friends would tell me I'm beautiful, yet I'm still single," she said. "What am I doing that I'm not finding love?"

Meet Kanu Masenda Jacobsen of Real Love Real Stories in Downtown Phoenix
Kanu, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I am a Zimbabwean American and have been here for 25 years. I was born into a family of 7 girls and I am the last. I credit my work ethic and the love to learn to my mom Matildah and my late father Cyril. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology and Sports Management and a Master of Arts in Counseling. In addition I am certified in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Appreciation in the Workplace and Development Dimensions International and as well an Executive & Business Coach.

Hi Kanu, we’d love to hear what makes you happy.
Personally what makes me happy are simple things: an early morning hike to watch the sunrise, a really yummy healthy meal, a conversation with a friend or family member, traveling and seeing the world, and a cute outfit.
